ERIKA Bibbò

I am 30 years old and I am from Campania. I graduated in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques in 2015 and in 2017 I earned a master's degree in autopsy techniques and diagnostics. I started working in 2017 as a lab technician at Synlab where I stayed for 7 months, then I worked for about a year at Humanitas. From 2019 to 2021 I worked at a company as a Product Specialist for laboratory instrumentation... but I missed lab life so much that I decided to return to the magical world of pipettes!

My role at CMP3VdA is as a Support Technician, I am responsible for taking the biological sample upon arrival at the lab and processing it in order to perform the genetics analysis. I am also involved in NGS sequencing.

My passions are music and sports. I couldn't live without concerts... and without a cold beer with friends post beach volleyball. I relax walking in nature, whether at the beach or in the mountains.

MARTINA Toscano

I am 26 years old, I'm from Catania and I studied Medical and Forensic Biotechnologies in Perugia, Italy.

Before joining CMP3VdA, I worked as a biotechnologist in analytical laboratories and on cruise ships where, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was in charge of swab processing.

Today, my role at CMP3VdA is Support Technician. I am in charge of handling blood and tissue samples, from which I extract DNA and perform Next Generation Sequencing techniques!

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and tasting new dishes, traveling, and ... to relax, cross-stitching!

VITTORIA Perseghin

I am 29 years old and I am from Aosta. I studied Industrial Biotechnology at the University of Turin and I am a Senior Biologist since January 2023.

My role at CMP3VdA is NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) Technician. Specifically, I am in charge of blood sample processing, nucleic acid extraction, genomic library preparation, and massive genome sequencing with both Illumina and Oxford Nanopore technologies. In addition, I am involved in the management of the laboratory and the instrumentation.

My passions are outdoor mountain activities as hiking, climbing, skiing... and playing music! I have been playing the trumpet since I was a child, a passion that led me to study this instrument at the Conservatory of Aosta and beeing part of the "Corps Philharmonique of Chatillon".
